Villager move in question

Hi all!

If I plot 3 new homes at the same day, and have 1 plot already sold to a mystery islander, will there move someone random in one of the other 2 plots the next day?
Because if so, i should hunt for to more good villagers before someone random moves in...

they don't necessarily move in the very next day, but better be safe than sorry and try to fill them before you get stuck with rando

When you look at the plots, do they say sold on the sign in front of them?

Yeah 2 of them are sold, one to a campsite visitor and one to a villager i found on a mystery island. I have 1 plot still for sale, but every island i got to don't have islanders...

You can only invite one villager from an island per day. You'll have to hope that the plot is still for sale tomorrow. If the plot is still available, you can find villagers on the mystery islands again.
