Villager move in glitch?

I was holding a villager for someone who went to boxes without telling me, and I had to TT back constantly in order to keep her in my town. However, during the time I was staying on January 23rd, I purchased Phoebe and she agreed to come to my town. She would move in on the 24th, right? Because I'm trying to plot reset for her now and I haven't seen her plot anywhere! Could this be a glitch and she's gone forever? Or am I doing something wrong?

It can take more than one day for them to plot.

What time is your clock set at? If it's before 6 am, plot resetting won't work. That's really the only thing I can think of...

I've done it 3 times on the same day, and it's currently at 6:22 and no plot. If she was showing up today, she'd be here.

And I know that it can take more than one day, but I thought that when you invited a villager to your town that they moved in the next day?

Yes it happens with invited villagers too.

Hm. I didn't know that... I've plot reseted for 6 villagers and they always moved in the next day so I didn't know it was possible.
