Villager leaving help

Okayso two of my villagers told me another villager is thinking of leaving. When I talk to said villager they don't say anything about it. I talked to them outside do they need to be in their house or something to mention it?

no, they need to ping you (like they get the three lines coming out) about moving. if they don't, try saving and quitting until they ping you.

Just keep talking to them. What I do is talk to them and if they don't mention moving, save and quit, then try again.

Rumors start the day before they're going to ping you, or after if you've missed it. If the moving villager doesn't say anything, they'll probably mention it the next day.

They will always be outside, and they have to ping you. They won't bring it up in regular conversation (you talking to them) until they first ping you. The best thing to do is to save and quit, and then run up to the villager. They should ping you then. If not, try it until it works.

They should mention it within the next day, right after pinging you. Just save and quit until they talk to you!

Guys if my friend wants this villager what do they do? they wait till the date the villager says or even before then to talk to them? sorry I'm a newbie.

they have to wait until your villager is in boxes, and then they can come visit your town and ask them to move to theirs.

to note, your villager's house will have a "moved out" sign after they talk to your friend. as for actual time frames of when your friend will get them, i think it's the next day? i'm not 100% sure, so i hope someone corrects me if i'm wrong.

If tney are stubborn about not pinging you, save game then go back into the game. Sometimes that gets them to ping you.

They have to ping you, what I do is save and quit and reload, pass in front of them, if they dont pick save and quit again, rinse and repeat, they ping inmediatly when you start the game when they are thinking on moving, is not like the PWP trick in which you have to wait for 5 minutes for a villager to ping you.
