Villager keeps plotting in the same spot?

I have Julian moving in to replace Pietro and i'm trying to plot reset him but he keeps going in the same spot every single time, if not a few squares over and he's no where near where i want him. Any advice?

Keep trying. It's done that with me before. Unless you accidentally saved it on that, it should move evetually c:

nope i load up someone new each time and he went a bit more south but not where i want him ugh. he needs to go east or down farther by Fang for it to work with me lol

Rather than just resetting the game, have you tried turning off your 3DS completely? I have no personal experience with this, but multiple people on this forum have mentioned that by turning off your 3DS you can "break the pattern", which apparently makes the villager choose different spots than they did before. It's worth trying, at least! Best of luck.

this happened with blanche! she kept plotting in the same spot over and over and over...sometimes she would go someplace else but it would be the worst place ever. i finally gave-up and just let her plot there. it's not the worst but i would have preferred for her to not be near my campsite ;_;

Thanks everyone he lined himself up perfectly with Chevre so i'm keeping him there. Unfortunately it's in front of my suspension bridge but i can remove that since i hardly use it and it was mainly used to see if Pietro would come over with everyone else (which he hadn't so he'll be leaving unfortunately).

@campy i haven't tried that before..hmm i'll try it once i bring Nan and Papi in when i get Wart Jr/Pietro out if they're stubborn. My villagers in this town have been quite stubborn in terms of plot resetting. Fang i ended up giving up on and i just let him live by me but it's close enough to everyone else so i delt with it

Once i had Gala and she left

Then caroline took her exact same spot

Then caroline left

Then celia took the same spot a few spaces to the right

The celia left

Now marshal took the orginal place where caroline and gala had been
4 villagers 1 plot...

It took me 5 trys to get Rudy into the perfect spot xD
