I haven't experienced this but I like that it's an option if that removed it. I know a lot of issues come from villagers gifting one another clothes that are just...No. So to be able to tell them they should definitely not wear it is nicer than having to open and check each gift and then rewrap them.

This just happened to me yesterday I said no and they gave me 2 shirts instead of 1 maybe a glitch?

For me it was always Roald wearing an awful toga that was given to him on his last island.

One day he came up to me and said he wanted me to have it. Dunno if he mentioned it being a 'spare', but I was very excited until the next day when he was wearing it again.

It fortunately stopped after I gifted him some nicer clothes!

This has happened to me a lot Buck is always running over and is like hey do you want this athlete jacket or some work out furniture and I am always like no thank you then he just ends up giving it to me anyway hahaha

Oh I really hoped this would have been a new thing to stop them wearing ugly clothes!! I've both made mistakes on clothes I've given to my villagers and adopted villagers that have horrid ugly clothes from where they have come from. Come on Nintendo
