Villager houses-movable??

Is it possible to move villagers houses?
Where my house is, it just seems so crowded with Deirdre, Kidd, and Roald's hosues.

also, is it possible to get more villagers? or do villagers have to leave in order to get new villagers??

They are not movable.

the only way you can pick where a villager moves is by doing this reset trick http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997811-animal-crossing-new-leaf/67187292 it takes a really long time sometimes to get them in the perfect spot though
