Villager House Placement

I'm planning on moving a villager in with a card, but I'm not sure if he could actually put his house here. There's one space on each side from the cliff, except on the corner. Let me try to visualize it.

Okay, so this is very crude but it's the best I can do. The x's represent the house, the o's represent empty ground, and the | and / represent the edge of the cliff. Basically, there isn't a full blank tile in the bottom right corner before the cliff. I was just wondering if I could still put a house here?

I wouldn't attempt it.
It could work, it just looks like a bit of a tight squeeze!

I have one of my villagers in a place very similar to this, so it could work, but it wasn't by card so I'm not sure.

Thank you both! I'm going to go ahead and try it (I'm only so set on it because it will line up with another house a little bit north of it), but worst comes to worst I might use the cards I have to force that villager over one space to make it all neat and tidy. Thanks again!
