Villager help

So my game is currently set in February and I was trying to get to June by TTing 3 days each after checking to see if any of my villagers would ping me to move so I could either stop them or let them go. Unfortunately my dreamie Lucky decided to move out without any ping. I even ran past him before I TTed and no ping. I tted the three days and receive a letter saying he moved so I quickly closed the game without saving. Is there a way I can get him back if I teleport back three days or do I have to do the 16 villager cycle thing? I might have 16 villager cards but I?m not 100% sure on how to work those without my other dream villagers moving away.

I don't think you will be able to keep Lucky.

If you loaded up your game with your mayor or an existing character, then unfortunately he's gone. The game saves while Isabelle is loading your data, so time traveling back won't fix anything.

If you have his Amiibo card, you don't have to go through the 16 villager cycle. You can scan him back in immediately.

If you don't have his card, you would have to cycle through 16 other villagers before you can invite him back into your town. I don't know exactly how to do that with the cards because I've never tried it, but hopefully someone else can fill you in on that.

If you have a few cards, you scan in villager A to move in, then the next day they'll make a plot. And again the next day they move in. And again the next day you scan in villager B to move in. The next day villager A is gone. So you scan in villager A again after B's settled in.
You just repeat it till the mover's count hits 16.
