Villager help !

Hello guys, yesterday I traded Coco for Marina from this person and I know for sure I persuaded Marina to move in I took a picture and then we ended which meant it saved and she came and got Coco. I opened up my game on a new save file and i went around town and nope there was no placement for her house. So I TTed a few days ahead and loaded up a new save file again and still nothing but Campers are showing up ? Do I have to load up my mayor first ? I just don't want her house in a bad place idk what I'm doing wrong ?

I believe you must return home through the train station for a villager move to happen. Someone posted recently that after they tried to adopt a villager and the host ended, the villager never moved in. I don't know how it was resolved though; hopefully someone who remembers more clearly will see this soon.

Oh no no ok I left her town through the train station and when she came to pick up Coco I ended.

Pretty sure when I've adopted villagers and the person has ended they have still moved in! Not sure what could have cause this?

Glad to hear it, did you get her OK?

Yup I just made a new character, saved, and then deleted her then I TTed to the next day and her house placement started showing up ^_^
