So Diana just moved out, and the 10th spot was reserved for Whitney (villager trade eheh..) but I loaded my game and I got Ribbot through someone else's void? Is there any way to move him out even if he's the 10th? or must I first move out another villager before Ribbot??? ;;;

it can be done afaik, just takes a while, because i think he is the least likely to move through the game mechanics!

i never tried this but one thing i heard that might help:

• villager x says they want to move out. you want villager y to move out, so you say no.
• save and quit, go back to 5:58am on the same day
( i didn't quite understand this part but i'll try explain anyway)
• wait till 6am, enter the game, save and quit
• change the time to 5/6pm, enter the game, looking for pings
• if another villager tries to move but it's not villager y, say no, save and quit and repeat

i think that's how it works but i'm not sure ): sorry, someone might be able to explain it better

I think you can move out your 10th villager, it's just rare. I can post the method I use to move out villagers, if you'd like, since it's pretty safe.

The mechanics of this are identical to travelling two days at a time. Each day in ACNL starts at 6 AM. When you go back to a time before 6 AM that day, you've time travelled back to the day before, which is the same as one day forward. When you wait for 6 AM again, that's the same as one day forward again, since a new day begins at that time. It sounds like it would work.

The part about changing the time to 5 or 6 PM is completely irrelevant. As long as it's an hour when all your villagers are awake (so you can talk to them), it doesn't matter what it is. I think the villagers who wake up latest are Uchis, at 11 AM, so any time after that but before their bedtimes should be fine.

Waiting for pings isn't a good method, though, because sometimes villagers don't immediately ping you. Talking to them makes things slightly safer since you can hear gossip about who's thinking about moving. I don't like methods that rely on moving gossip or pings, though.

I hope this helps with understanding the game mechanics :)

oh yeah the rumors! yes you should talk with everyone, i wrote that thinking about how someone will be always moving out haha

sorry, i forgot about that part!

After about 4 days that Julian moved in my town, I loaded the game with a second character (not the mayor) and he pinged her to move out already! So I think there's still a chance for you.
