villager headcanons

a lot of villagers mention things about themselves and i've got smug fever and noticed they like instruments. now i'm convinced they had a boyband. example, i picture colton, marshal, o'hare and kyle started one called crossingzone when they were like 17 and were popular for awhile.

ITS SO CUTE TO THINK ABOUT SO OF COURSE I HAD TO DRAW A POSTER OF 17 YEAR OLD THEM
but also peppy villagers want to make it big, so i imagine them having a talent show like american idol, x-factor etc!!
each wiki also has what they want to be like ankha wants to be an astronaut WHAT so i imagine her studying space in her free time.
anyone have any other cool headcanons? :'D

I wrote a short story for my friends on my discord server about how Nate got to be so obsessed with boxes.

Ok, but that drawing is so cute :,D

Anyway, two of my favorite headcanons that I?ve come up with are about my boy Moose! These may get a bit long, bear with me XD So sometimes Moose sends me cherries in the mail- that?s how I was able to plant the cherry trees I have now He always mentions in the letters that his grandma sent him a lot in the mail, and he wanted to share some with me instead of eating them all himself That gave me the idea that cherries are his favorite- his grandparents own a cherry orchard, and he has fond memories of visiting them when he was a kid and eating his grandma?s cherry pie ^u^

The other one is about the red dragonfly he has in his room- he asked me to catch it for him all the way back in 2014, and he still has it to this day ^^; I used to try sending him things in the mail to replace it with no luck, but everything changed when he told me this:

I thought that was just so adorable :,D Every now and then he?ll ask me to bring him a piece of furniture to replace the dragonfly, but I just can?t bring myself to do it- at this point, the little guy is an important part of my town story I like to imagine that he?s named it Marv(dunno why lol)and he considers it a good friend- when he?s sad, talking to Marv helps him feel better ^u^ And to take things even further, jock mice are scared of bugs according to the Halloween guide, so I imagine one of the reasons he wanted me to catch him a dragonfly was so he could work on getting over his fear(what kind of manly man is scared of bugs, he told himself??)and at first he was scared to let it out of the cage, but over time he warmed up to the little guy, and now he?s significantly less scared of bugs than he was before- he?ll often let Marv out to just chill with him on the couch, and he?s even taught it some tricks ^u^

...oh man, that did get long XD I just have a lot of feelings about my little secret agent mouse buddy...

that was so pleasant to read!! ;v; thank you for typing all that out, it makes me more willing to fish for my villagers lol but i love the cherry story!! ;v; lil grandma mouse sending cherries to her lil agent grandson makes me so happy for some reason !!
plus naming the dragonfly,,, aah thats so cute, i wish they would mention more that they keep them as pets!!

You singlehandedly redeemed Moose in my eyes, thank you for the story! That's actually really sweet! I wish my villagers would actually keep the stuff I send them. I'm lucky if it lasts a week.

Also to mention the smug boyband, that's amazing! The drawing is beautiful! What instrument would each member play you think?

As for my own head canons, I think in my current town I don't have any since it's fairly new besides Wolfgang. He's always missing and recently donned a Detective outfit. He mentions being the shadow mayor so I'm imagining that he is currently investigating the case of the recurring pitfalls. Sadly I don't really see him to pester him about it. I'll need to think back to D towns for some good ones, I had plenty of crazy stories that just made so much sense. I'll post if I remember them!

omg i love you guys thank you so much for the compliments i'm definitely drawing more of crossing zone c':
i think of marshal as the innocent one of the group and probably the heartthrob who sings and plays keyboard sometimes (his arms are too tiny to play anything else)
kyle of course is the dreamy bad boy who plays bass and has that raspy voice that the girls/guys swoon over
& colton plays guitar because yeah but he's the prince charming of the group of course
and o'hare is the funny one who plays the drums!!
