Villager gift question

When giving villagers foreign fruit as gifts does coconuts count the same as the rest? I was wondering if u get less points because it's easier to come by than other foreign thanks.

I don;t think they count as high as the non native fruits.. When I give them coconuts they always pay me the same as when I give them native fruit...

I think for the fruits it's based on the price they sell for. Coconuts sell for less than foreign fruits (a little more than your native, though)

I think the non-native fruits would be the highest, and then coconuts since everyone technically has access to them on mystery tours.
