My beloved Hamphrey decided to move without telling me(I TT a few days ahead and he was ALWAYS in his house or shopping. None of my villagers mentioned it either(I talk to every one before I go to the next day)
But Im letting him move into my cousins village and I'll try to confirm if the same villager can move back(dunno if anyone has already though).
I think the other guy said he was trying to get a different villager than his original to move back.
Anyway will post results when the time comes.
The same happened with me! My Shep is suddenly gone. T^T
What a sacrifice to get Diana T^T

YEAH the same thing happened to me. It was a tourney going on but he was still insdie and I figured nobody would ask to leave on a special day so I just went the the next day. Im sad!

Whoa is TT 4 days will sure to make a villagers out or something?
I TTed Monday to Thursday and Shep's gone.
In Monday they didn't tell me anything T^T
Yeah, never TT to event days, and if you have TTed a large space of time, make sure you speak to all your villagers, I've noticed that it seems around 5 villagers will wander town at any time, and they only seem to mention moving while they are wandering town, so make sure you also TT to different hours of the same day sometimes so you can talk to everyone 
Edit: I have 10 villagers atm, and one asks to move every 4 or 5 days, I'm pretty sure your town's rating has an effect on how often a villager will try to move, anyone else notice this?

Yeah. I do always do that. Ill go to someones town, ask the villager to come, then when im back home ill save&quit and change the time to the next day at 5:59, save&quit again and then keep resetting on a new character till the villager moves into a good spot
