I used the same trick but with the house plasment... after I was going to give up. BAM! KYLE MOVES IN THE PERFECT SPOT!

I always do the house placement as well, I wouldn't want my dream villager to build a house in my garden afterall.
But it seems that I always having 9-10 villagers in my town, so I can't use the 7days trick.
Campsite is my only hope. (Other than trading, ofc)

The problem is I have a very small amount of villagers who I want out so trying to get the right person out would be a nightmare. It was already a nightmare getting blaire out! So I just keep resetting for something I like. I've got Merry and Bruce from campsite resetting. I saw Bob too, but I was resetting to get a villager to move into a good spot, and with that plot I was full... so mad about that.

I know how you feel as well! My town is nearly perfect and the only thing I need is to get rid of the others to take my beloved dream villagers. I'm anxious everytime I TT, tough it's only 2 days each.

Also also, a question! If your villager asks you to bury a time capsule, will they not ask to move till you dig it up?

No, they can still move. I had Doc give me a time capsule, and he just moved out without asking for it ever again. I could dig it up still, but I just took what the present attachment was and then erased it from my letters folder.

The new one spawns at 6am the next day. And if your town was 10 before Cube move out, no one gonna show up

Good thing I prefer the squirrels to hamsters.

My Tangy was given away before because no one want her. ;u;
