Villager discussion: Bones

I love these threads. I love reading all of your different opinions!

So, I'm starting one about one of my dreamies: Bones! However, Bones is a tier 5 villager, which I DO NOT understand. He's so cute!
Why do you think he's so unpopular? Do you like him? What do you (dis)like about him? Have you ever had him in your town? Tell me everything you think about this cute li'l doggie!

I like him, and I especially love his house. I have him in my second town, and he's been cool so far. Very underrated.

He's cute but feels incredibly basic to me. His color scheme is just sooo boring and his character design is really typical of any dog character anywhere >< maybe im being a bit too harsh because I had him for a while and I regretted picking him up. Of the dog villagers, he might be the worst in my personal opinion (next to Portia and Cherry, but I just hate Cherry). Though Daisy/Goldie are basic in a similar sense, their designs are still pretty cute in comparison. Dunno.

I love Bones! The dogs are one of my favorite AC species, and I love Bones's design. I hope I can have him in one of my towns someday.

I think he's pretty cute! I've never had him, and the only dog villagers I've had are Walker and Cherry. They're cute, but I prefer feathered villagers, haha (other than my 3 wolfies ♥)

I love Bones! If Cube hadn't come to my town, he would have been my second option. I love his design and his house is very cute too.

I have him and Goldie in my town and they get on really well, they also have house exteriors that go well together, I wouldn't change either of them for the world. They're both dreamies

Ah I struggle wth the dog villagers, as I find a lot of them very cute for a short time and then I tend to go off them after a while. Bones is adorable to look at. I've had him once right at the beginning, I have no idea why he isn't more popular. He's got such cute eyes and a lovely expression on his face. I think maybe one of the reasons he isn't too popular is down to his species maybe, not many of the dogs are extremely well liked by the majority, unlike the deers or cats. It's a shame really. I do find their designs a little dull after a while, not sure why, I just go off them. Really surprised he isn't at least a tier 3 at the least though, I've seen quite a few people who love Bones

I have him in my third town! He's a good boy. I like his house.
I almost cried when he left the town, but I needed some space in my town so I had to let him go. I hope he's in good hands now.

I also have him in my Population Growing file, but he isn't giving me any impression yet in that game.

I had him in my town. I didn't get to know him very well because the game plotted him as the farthest house from me. I decided to let him go because he isn't very interesting outside of his obsession with child-like furniture. He is not bad, just kind of average. He might be blessed when tiers start changing due to amiibo updates, as he really should be more in the middle (because he is average).

He's kind cute, but for me I don't really like the dog villagers, except Lucky. I just don't like the way the dog villagers are designed personally.

I want him so badly! I need Wolf Link and Stitches out of my town though, and they won't move, and I really don't wanna have to buy these guys' amiibo cards! D:
