Villager Choice!

Tomorrow I'll be setting up to cycle in villagers I want for my new town! There's no theme I'm really going for yet, something a mix of zen but also kind of like a port town idea? Zen harbour I guess is what I'm going for!

Only problem is I like a lot of villagers! I think I want at least one of each personality type but I may omit one or two if I like too many of one type. Here's some of my favourites, ones in bold are ones I'm seriously considering.

Normal: Lily, Gladys, Coco
Peppy: Ruby, Bunnie, Skye
Snooty: Diana, Freya
Uchi: Phoebe

Jock: Genji
Cranky: Kabuki, Chief, Fang
Lazy: Drago, Stitches, Marcel, Clay, Zucker, Cranston
Smug: Zell, Lopez, Henry, Julian, Pietro

Everybody looks good! I'm not sure how well Pietro would fit with a zen them, though. If you were to take out anybody from that list that you are seriously considering I'd take him off. That's just my opinion, however, so do whatever you fancy. ^^

Aah I see where you're coming from, I'm just very attached to Pietro because he's a rainbow clown sheep y'know? :')
I might switch him out for Lopez or Henry, but if he comes along while I'm resetting I probably won't turn him down...

Cranston matches with Gladys so that's why I was leaning to him, but Drago is great! His house is pretty zen-themed too if I remember right.

I love those guys too! Coco is my all-time favourite so she's definitely staying...I'll see what happens, I guess!

I looked at him but I'm not really keen on the chicken villagers, if I'm totally honest!
I want to keep a theme but also have villagers I can love, y'know?

The zen harbour theme is really unique. At one point I was going to do a sea/harbour themed town but I decided against it. It would've been pretty cool though. A couple of users helped me out with names and such and there was just some really good names. I still have the list if you want to see it, atleast I think I do. But they're more for a sea/harbour themed town. Have you thought of any names yet? like mayor name and town name? it seems like it'll be a little hard to come up with since it'll be a zen/harbour themed town so you need a name that suits both.

Anyway, I really like your villager choices! you actually have some of my favourites there like Ruby, Genji and Phoebe. Why isn't Phoebe's name in bold out of curiosity?

Although this will probably just add to your long list of villagers how about Blanche for a potential snooty? she has a zen themed house, and I personally find her very elegant looking and she reminds me of a japanese crane. Which is perfect for a zen/harbour town. Harbour because she could also double up as a seagull, which you often see flying around near depictions of harbours. The rest looks really good though, I agree with the villagers that you've chosen. Although all that really matters is if you like your villagers, not others. Hope this was a little insightful. Good luck with the town and i'd love to see it when it's finished!

I've settled on the name Moreau (モリュウ） for my town! It's taken from a town in an old J-RPG game that's actually a port town with Asian influence, so perfect for a zen port I think! My mayor's name is just my name (Kyle) but in all my weeb-ness I wrote it as it is in romaji aha, so Kairu.

Phoebe isn't bolded because she's my only uchi choice! But also because I'm still not sure if I'll be having an uchi at all...I love Phoebe a lot though, so she'll probably end up coming along~

I already want Cranston and Gladys but I guess Blanche can come along if she has a zen-themed house! My current top choice was Freya to balance out possibly having Pietro and/or Julian but if I run with a different smug like Zell or Lopez then it'll work out!

I've already got some ideas drawn up on paper for pwp/location plans if you're interested! Otherwise it might be a while for me to get everything running but I'll definitely be posting dream addresses and screenshots for big updates for it.
