Did anyone else know that there are "special" gifts to give to your villager on their birthday?

I tried this...and got a pic!

Wrap it in wrapping paper!!

Oh I know about this, but I never thought of giving them the items in wrapped presents. Are you guaranteed to get a villager pic if you give them a present they love in a wrapped present?

I am not sure if it's a "guarantee"...But Rosie gave me her's in the mail the next day, and we were NOT at that "friend level" yet.

Really? I'm gonna have to try that when its Diana's birthday, its only a villager moving date away (See what I did there? It usually takes 5 days for a villager to be in boxes )

Like anything else, I think it's random. Please don't get your hopes up because you might not get their picture this way. Keep doing their requests, talk to them, and mail them letters. You'll eventually get a picture.
