Villager accents?

Do any of you feel like certain villagers have certain accents? Like I imagine Marshal and Olivia both have really stereotypically posh British accents and so on. Do any of you have any thoughts on this? Haha or is it me all alone?

I always imagined Marshal having a british accent. Same with Colton. Never Olivia though. I always think of the koalas having Australian accents, and Ankha having a mysterious tone, sorta like Luna from the dream suite.

Nope, not at all .. I just go with the tone relevant to whichever personality they are.

This is a fun thread ^_^ In my mind, Marshal is more of a hipster than a posh British guy. He's always talking about his band and indie films.

I also thought that some of the frogs and Static the squirrel would have raspy voices more than deep ones. And I always imagined Flora, Papi, and Keaton to sound a lot like Pave with a more spanish accent.

Yeah marshal does like indie films. He's always going about anime and how he loves to dance to the theme music. He said he liked it before it was cool haha

I imagine Portia having sort of a posh voice, similar to Rarity off of MLP is the best way I can explain it.

I can almost see Elvis the Lion trying to imitate the voice of Elvis the singer. xD

Not really, though I can do see it with some villagers (Like Del or something.).

Also I imagine Marshal to have that typical anime guy voice or something.

Alfonso would be Italian, since he seems to like Mario, and his catchphrase is "itsa me!"

So many different voices for marshal! Haha I agree with all of them! Is there a way we can smoosh them all together to make one voice?

I will have to agree with oath2order on accents. Villagers don't have them. I find it weird that some detect accents in villager speeches.

I always think of Marshal as kinda having a 60's hippy voice, not the words but just the laid back type of accent.

I like to imagine different voices for the villagers, because each villager of one personality has the same voice, it`s quite boring. I can imagine Pekoe, Chester, Chang and Pinky have some sort of a chinese accent

Back to topic: Yes, I agree.
Some of the villagers do have an accent - at least to me that is, when I am talking to the them <3
