When my camera records video, it saves it as an mpeg-4. When I try to upload it to youtube, I get an error. When I convert it and try to upload it I get an error. Any suggestions?

I'll add more detail later...

What format are you converting it to?
I have tried:

.avi
.mp4 (Which youtube says it works)
__________

I'm using Camtasia Studio to change the formats...
It should work, then... How long is the video?
Like 1min 40 seconds...

When I try to open the file it takes quicktime like 15 minutes to open (Not kidding) and when you go to play it, it goes through the whole video in under a second AKA It doesn't play it at all. Windows Media Player does the same. When I try putting it through Movie Maker, it doesn't even appear when I import it.

I've re-recorded the video twice.

Then whatever you're using to record the video is messed up, or the file is getting corrupted during the conversion... If you send me the original file, I might be able to convert it for you.

Does your camera auto-import, or do you drag files from the SD card to your computer?

I'd have to upload it to mediafire as a download because its too big for an email message...

@Pear

It comes with software that transfers the selected files onto your computer, you go to the file you put it in, and you have it....
