Smash Bros Victory Poses

so apparently a lot of people dont know about this (at least thats the impression i got) so i wanted to share i guess.
anyway u can basically choose ur victory pose by pressing left up or right taunt when it says "time" or when the stuff is in slow mo. does anyone actually use this feature? i think its pretty fun to use.

i like the special things lucina/robin say in certain circumstances so its cool for that.

also on that topic, ive been doing this for years but last night i played for a few hours and i couldnt get it to work, like at all. is there a glitch or something?

I've never heard about the victory pose thing but I thought the special things people say to each other are towards characters from their game.
Like if you play as fox againt falco fox might say something like "better luck next time falco"

I think it's like that with fox->falco, falco->fox lucina->marth lucina->ike etc.

Lucina talks a lot of smack to other FE characters

ye this is what i meant, i like that, but i always thought those (meaning the lucina ones) were pose + character specific. maybe not tho

same with palutena and pit

Pretty sure in Melee the different poses could also be triggered by the L and R buttons too.

Don't quote me on that I haven't played Melee in like 2 months.

P sure we can't customize our own taunts, but I may be wrong...

no like the pose your character makes when they win, and everyone else claps

I think Piichinu means the poses on the victory screen. Your character does something fancy, poses, the announcer says their name, and a screen shows the loser clapping.


On the topic, I think it's mostly coincidental, because I've done Megaman's taunts and it'd only work about half the time.

Yeah, I never knew you could customize the taunts for once the battle is over....
