So I was playing with my friend and after a short while, we couldn't see what we were saying to each other. It happened to me first when I couldn't see my friend's chat, he just kept walking around. Then it happened to him, when I could see what he was saying but he couldn't see what I was saying. Is there any explanation to this? There was no lag and we never disconnected. (the session ran for about 5-6 minutes before we gave up)

It happened to me once, but I attributed it to lag because we had a lot of huge downloads running at the time. Since you say there was no lag at all for you I have no idea what the cause could have been... hopefully just a random hiccup that won't repeat itself anytime soon?

I think it might be lag, it happened to me in a wifi session with some friends back in the TBT fair, we met up in someone's town for the NL Screenshot contest, and we were trying to say "Happy 10th Birthday TBT!" with each of us saying one of the four phrases, but we couldn't see one of the people saying it, so it could be a glitch.
