Ugh! That's awful! Really sorry that they went and stole your pansies! D: The best thing to do is watch whoever comes into your town and if they do attempt to steal, just turn your power off.

I'm sorry some jerk came in and stole from you.

When someone visits your town, the best thing to do is follow them...or have them follow you. Keep your eyes on them the entire time. If they do something you don't like, flip the Wi-Fi switch to kick them out. It'll be like they were never there.

I'm sorry something like this happened to you I once opened my gate for a trade but someone else came over and, well, it wasn't as much as a bad experience as yours but let's just say ever since then I've been very wary of opening my gate (I can't seem to find out just how and where and when we exchanged our FCs however, and they're definitely not on this site).

(I was wondering why I kept seeing your gate open the whole time I was selling turnips in another town though. Now I know )

Sadly if you don't follow them then there's not much you can do. I had a similar incident and deleted all but a small handful of friends. I now only leave gates open overnight to people I trust. Anyone I do trades with or let come to my town to bring Katie, etc I delete straightaway.

Since posting, I've noticed that my blue violets and orange cosmos are gone as well. I used to have my hybrids "showcased" near the train station. I won't do that again.
