Very first smug and uchi villager?

Since smug and uchi where new persos I wanna know who everyone got as their very first uchi and smug o:

My first smug in my very first town was Julian! He was very unique but I didn't care for him at first and let him move out (and i never knew of the tbt forum back in 2013 so i didnt give him away or anything lol)
And my uchi was Phoebe or Renee! I like Phoebe as she was quite quirky but Renee was.. odd to me

And in Regalia my smug was Eugene and my uchi was Sylvia! (if anyone cared lol)

My first uchi was Tammy, and my first smug was Lopez. They're both gone now, but Lopez and I had a maxed-out bond for about two years!!

Kyle and Canberra in my main town (Kyle moved on, Canberra is now in my Mum's main town), Deidre and Lionel in my second (both moved on), and my third was possibly Renee, or it might have been Deidre again, and Lopez was my smug (the uchi moved on, Lopez lives in Mum's second town!).

My first uchi was Phoebe, and my first smug was Olaf. I loved them both so much at the time, but I think my favorite smug so far has to be Colton actually. I grew very attached to him while he was in my original Kairos town c: But when I first saw Phoebe, wow I was shocked. She was such a unique looking villager, I could barely tell what she was lol. And her HOUSE WAS DECKED, I WANTED TO STEAL ALL HER FURNITURE.

Mine was Flo the uchi penguin and Ed the smug horse. Flo was ok but Ed is special to me. Ed was my first villager that I got sad when moved out and I'll never forget about it.c:

Thats sorta similar to me! Ed was very special to me as well so I had to get him again !!
Now he's back in my town of Regalia forever

uhh it's hard to remember because that's when I was very new to the game and didn't really know about different personalities and stuff. they were mostly void move-ins from streetpass I think? I remember chops and pashmina though. got both to move out phew~

My VERY first uchi and smug were Deirdre and Hans. That town died a horrible death due to SD card failure (which is now fixed, yay!). For Bluebark, my current town, I just checked the new plot, and I'm getting Fuchsia... my game has a thing for uchi deer.

Fun fact, from my experiences with having to restart towns a gazillion times, I'm assuming the first five (starter, I guess you call them) villagers never include a smug or an uchi. However, the first two new guys—who always move in as soon as possible—will always be, in order, an uchi and a smug. Can anyone else confirm?

That is true! You can never have uchis or smugs as starter villagers.

I just created an account to answer that.
I've seen people confirming that the starting 5 are never uchi or smug. And the first two move-ins in my town were Canberra and Curlos, so your theory about the first new villagers might be right!

You might've mistaken him for another deer thats smug? There's Zell and Lopez ^^
