Splatoon Version 2.2.0 Update

Okay why is everyone saying Blasters don't 1HKO. They can with Damage Ups. But the whole Nerf was unnecessary for it though.

Oh, nice, increased range and ink coverage on H-3, and increased ink coverage on L-3; I have been planning to use both types of Nozzlenose more, so that is welcome news.

Looks like Dynamo gets the nerf a lot of people wanted. Especially with that 'Opponents cannot be splatted in one hit when the player is out of ink,' which I have seen happen A LOT while watching an S+ ranked Dynamo player: he would kill a lot of people while having low ink.

Never noticed a problem with ink usage while running with the Inkbrush, but as someone who mains it I am not complaining about the decrease in usage, heh.

That 40% less resistance against enemy attacks for the Splash Wall seems to me quite the nerf, if I am reading that right. I heard a lot of people saying competitive ranked can be summed up with 'Kraken and Splash Walls.'

... And I see they also make it harder to 'bounce' splash walls for placement onto the tower.
 
Yay a buff for my heavy splatling.

Imo these buffs were definitely necessary, especially to the splash walls and elitres.

Update sounds decent, but I'd prefer one that allows me to say 'Booyah' to other players in a match. I'm in Europe and so can only say the much more boring 'Nice'
 
I don't care much for blasters myself, so the nerf is pretty meh on me. XD Kinda glad though about the 'won't be one shotted if they don't have damage ups'.

Though I love the buff for the splatter shot pro. That's usually my go to for ranked if I'm not using the krak-on roller. ^_^

The nerf on the Kraken is kinda lame, but eh... I guess it kinda helps stopping a team wipe from one kraken.

The S+ and S scoring is a bit nicer I see. That's good for whoever is in those ranks... though the bottom numbers for the S is a bit harder to keep if you lose a lot of matches.

I don't really care much for minor adjustment updates like this. Though I think they're tweaking stages in particular modes as well. I wonder if they've fixed the glitch in hammerhead bridge.
 
the blaster already had drawbacks compared to other weapons, and they decide to get rid of the one thing that made them viable? smh

at least the splash wall is getting nerf'd

Rollers are just harder to use now. Takes more skill. Nothing too bad.

Blasters? Hahahahahaha I hope those things rot.

E Liter nerf gives Splatterscopes more of a chance, but I'm done trying to learn the former.

Nooo, E-liter was nerfed...

I didn't see any changed to Areosprayers which surprised me. They should've nerfed them.

But yay, .52 Gal Deco wasn't changed.
 
Huh, I thought the intent with Blasters had been that only direct hits could 1-hit KO in the first place, but even when it was slightly off it could do it? And here I thought I was just bad at dodging those things, haha. I should really look into weapons more frequently.
