So today, I was doing a trade which involved hybrids. One person who I never got to meet up with (because I was WAY too busy) came to my town. I decided to have small talk with her, but when I got to the train station, I realized the hybrids I was selling were missing! I flipped the switch and they came back. I think I was stolen from as revenge for never getting to meet with her. I feel bad, but I'm thankful at the same time. Has anyone experienced something like this?

It's because there were a few opportunities where I could've visited her, but at the same time I had to visit other people (trades and all that), so I've always missed that chance. I am angry that she attempted to steal my stuff, but at the same time I'm a sympathetic person.

Please leave her negative feedback because that's unacceptable. I don't care if she was mad at you or not. I like to look at feedback before letting people into my town. I certainly wouldn't invite her in knowing she's stolen (or at least tried to steal) from other people. I hope you've already deleted her FC.

People do that all the time, not usually for vengeance, but usually cause they're just butts! I did a free giveaway and told people to take only the things I set out for them but they ran around and took all my hybrids too. Guess that's what i get for being nice

Don't feel bad about flipping the switch, stealing is absolutely uncalled for whether you met up with her or not. If she would have asked it would be a different situation. I'd just remove off my list and move on :/

That's really childish. Seriously, stealing something from one person bc you're upset at them. *rolls eyes* Im sorry that they even thought that they could get away with that. Good on you, for noticing that and thinking to flip the switch so quickly!
That's so spiteful... just think, in order for her to have gotten there when your gates were open, she would have had to keep checking her station to see if you had your gates open. And even then, she could've just come by with the items she wanted to trade and asked if you could do the trade then... but instead she stole your stuff. So she obviously had planned it. What a douchebag.

People pull stunts in "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" because they figure they can. Some of them get a kick out of it. Today, I might have been a victim of something else. I did the island Club Tortimer. On my first trip, I saw and I bought two Red Wet Suits. When I was done getting them, a disconnection happened. Now, I went back [this was North America], and found a different selection of items. So, I had to keep going back to see if I had luck. I never did. But none of those additional trips (which included outside North America) yielded a disconnect. I have a feeling someone there pulled the switch. I may be wrong. But if I'm right?no surprise.
