I agree, it was kind of upsetting to see the berliner, which I had asked for earlier from LovelyIdiot (earlier than this thread), be "outbid"

You don't really expect people to read other people's posts right? I saw her original post, saw those items on her "for sale" list, and I made an offer. Now, you said, it's supposed to be first come first serve, so I'm pretty sure the seller would entertain your post first before mine, and he/she would decide who she's trading with. Just in case you missed all the details in her first post, "BEST OFFER FOR THESE ITEMS WILL WIN", which means that everyone can offer for anything on that list, regardless of whether someone already offered
