So I've time travelled across Valentine's day a few times and every time I only get pink or purple roses from Marshal <3 but is there any other gifts that you can get on Valentine's day if the friendship is high enough? I've tried googling it, but nothing comes up. Only descriptions on Valentine's day from City Folk.
So is there anyone who can help me out?
What can you get besides hot chocolate from Brewster, a chocolate cake from Isabelle and roses from the male villager you are closest with? c:

I tt-ed once on valentine and Isabelle told me she baked some cake but is a secret who is she giving, and yea, is in the letter for me and my secondary citizen~ But roaming around town during valentine I will leave it to the actual day xD

I accidentally TT'd past Valentines day, and got chocolate from... Pierce???? I don't even remember what the letter said now. I'm wondering if only the opposite sex gives you something? I would've thought for sure it would've been Beau or Curlos, at least, seeing as I'm more romantically involved with them than I am with Pierce. ; Or ANY of the ladies around town. I hope it's not strictly opposite gender, but I have the sinking feeling that it is. >:
