Urgent question: villagers moving in and out

I just want to double check something.

My game is on a day when a villager was in boxes. Someone invited them so their house is there but with the "moved out" sign.

I want to invite in another villager, especially since I'm afraid of having picked up a voided one. Can I invite the voided villager on that same date (when the house of the former villager is there but closed) or should I change the date to a few days later?

If your town had 10 villagers before your villager was picked up, I am pretty sure you should TT to the next day, when the moving villager's house is gone. Because once I had my sister pick up my 10th villager when they were in boxes and I was unable to invite a camper to move in, so it's probably the same with picking up other villagers.

I had someone in boxes and invited Chief from my campsite just fine the same day. He stayed in the campsite a day longer, then disappeared, and the day after that he plotted.

It's possible, but only if the villager in boxes is your 9th villager.

Thanks. The villager I was moving out wasn't in boxes, though, his house had already shut down. I TTed forward just in case.
