[URGENT] PLEASE HELP! Club LOL/101 issues in visiting towns

So a couple of my friends went to go visit my bf's town and just before ending the trip, they decided to visit club lol. Upon visiting, one of my friends actually got stuck?? frozen in loading a conversation with Julian.

My bf, the mayor of the town they're in, says on his screen, he sees Hazel, not Julian.
He also spots characters on her screenshot he doesn't see on his own. (Poncho)

She can't end the convo load or even move, he can't save nor end the session.

Both of them are using New 3ds XLs so they cant force off the Wi-fi and we decided the only other option is turning off the system, which they both fear could end up in file corruption. We considered having my bf, who isn't frozen, to talk to one of the villagers in question to get her out but again, corruption fear.

The club is already past closing time so he doesn't want to leave either, in fear of not being bale to get back in with my friend.

has anyone ever encountered this before? any advice?

Best thing to try to do is close the host's 3DS closing the connection so the players will be booted out via resetti message.

Close the 3DS manually (The physical 3DS). By closing the 3DS and reopening the 3DS the Wi-Fi connection should temporarily go off, kicking players from the town without turning off the system.

by shutting it off? sadly he can shut off the wifi bc of the new 3ds xl lacking a physical switch

apparently he was looking for everything before closing the system

the decided to leave club lol and he couldn't re-enter, but on her end, she finally loaded the conversation and everything was fine
they ended the session as quickly as possible

would you happen to know if theres any contact info I could reach for like
animal crossing or nintendo game bugs that need to be reported bc that situation lasted for a good half hour
 
Honestly I was up and I wanted to help. Most members here on TBT are very nice and usually help with questions like that, though I wouldn't say it would be 100% reliable but it's worth a shot.
