URGENT! Cartridge problems!

I'm writing this for a friend, whenever she tries to open up ACNL it just gets stuck on the "Nintendo 3DS" screen, other games work just fine! And it still worked fine yesterday. What should she do? Please help us, this is really important

Has she checked the inside of the cartridge. There could be some dust, dirt or even hairs that are caught in the opening. Ive had this happen to me before and with a simple clean, it worked well afterwards.
I can't suggest anything else I'm afraid and I can only hope that it is a bit of dirt.
Has she dropped it? Trodden on it recently by accident? I know these things can happen xxx

It might be broken...
Try blowing on it then putting it back in? Did she drop the cartridge somewhere?

@xxsilver Thanks! I've texted her and I'm waiting for a reply, but I don't think she dropped it or anything recently :/
