Uploading game pictures.

How do I upload all the hundreds of game pictures to my laptop? I really want to have these pictures and keep them all without accidentally losing them. I made the mistake of losing the 2,500 City Folk pictures I had and even though I don't play anymore, I so regret it because I had tons of memories with tons of AC friends

But anyways.... who knows how I can upload these to my photobucket? Will I have to do it from my DS?

The easiest way is to remove the SD card from your 3DS and plug it into your computer. Most computers should have a slot for an SD card. It will show up on your computer as an external drive and you can just drag and drop the files like you would from a USB. Just remember that you need to slide the yellow "lock" bar on the SD card before plugging it in and then slide it back to the locked position before you put it back into your 3DS. My mom's old laptop had this when I played CF.... however the laptop I'm using now doesn't. And I don't have cords for my desktop computer. And my MacBook is broken and currently in the process of getting fixed. Let me go check if my mom's laptop has a slot....

You'll probably have to wait until you get your laptop back. Another option is to email them using 3DS internet, but I don't think it's possible to access right now due to an update (or at least it was impossible last time I checked). I believe you can also upload them to miiverse but I'm not sure how to do this.

Has anyone else uploaded pictures this way?

I actually tried using the browser to do so. several times, actually. And it would just freeze and when I clicked the home button, the word "home" would show up but the screen never went away so I had to turn the DS off.

I'm sure if you try going to a library (school or public), they should have an SD card slot on the hard drive. I know my public library has one anyways, and save the pics on a flash drive to put into your laptop or as suggested email them to yourself. If not, ask a friend to borrow their laptop? I mean as long as you still have the SD card, it's not like you'll ever lose those pictures.

You could also get an SD card reader that will plug into a USB drive at any place that sells electronics, even walmart.
