I wish to be able to dive again and I hope cap'n comes back with his boat and let's us rent it or somthing along those lines... also hoping for brewsters cafe and the art to come back...

Since the cafe and the art features have pretty much been confirmed (I think?), I'm gonna have to agree with you on the diving. Considering that we're supposedly in a more tropical setting than before, I'm really really hoping that diving and swimming makes a return, along with a section of the museum dedicated to those creatures that we find while doing so

Did you notice in the aquatic section of the museum there's a submarine and diving suit displayed? I feel like that's hinting at a future update where Nintendo adds the ability to dive. If that's true, I think that would be amazing.

It seems kindve silly to add things like diving with an update... with all these updates at different times its kindve nauseating. I feel like everyone should have that without having to download an update via wifi but okay......... I hope it comes! I changed my phone plan to have a Hotspot just for updates

Honestly it does seem odd for diving to be part of an update. I was thinking that it might already be in the game, but we don't have access to wet suits yet so the update would just provide them. Maybe it's a summer thing? If not diving suits then I'd really love to see updates that give new furniture and clothing like Pocket Camp does.

I'm really hoping this earth day event adds bushes/shrubs like in New Leaf, it just feels like something is missing from my town without them.

Also I really hope an update makes crafting more streamlined, and adds the option to buy more crafting packs/medicine/other stuff from nooks at a time, maybe we can choose how much we would like to buy like in other games rather than choosing "buy 1" or "buy bulk (usually 5)"

I'm not so sure about swimming freely. Someone was able to go out of bounds and there's no indication of a closed map like in NL. If they're going to allow swimming, they'll have to do a big update to increase the size of the playable map, so that you don't end up swimming into the endless void. That's a huge fear irl, getting lost in the middle of the ocean.

Bushes, more Nook Items (I miss some of the projects from NL, they'd look amazing in NH). Maybe Barber shop? Maybe you could change your hair color from a palette, so you could have way more shades. Me personally, I would love ashy-light brown hair.
Make fences customizable! They're all very pretty, but I'd love to have them in different colors.
A "recycle" feature would be sooo useful, you "destroy" an item you crafted and don't need anymore to get 50% of the mats back.

I would love a more lenient limit for trees in your town ;__; I've still got maybe 3 totally blank acres left to decorate and I'm already over the limit.
Besides that I'd love to see bushes at long last too ;__;

i really hope they add the dream suite in at some point - if they did, i’m assuming it’d be further down the line to allow players time to design their islands but that’s probably just wishful thinking lmao.

i also would love to see pascal and diving make a comeback - i miss the stoner otter lol and it’d be great if they added in tortimer’s island; shark and beetle farming was my main source of income in new leaf and i miss it lmao

I really want a proper venue for KK to visit, like the comedy club in New Leaf (maybe a tiki bar or something?).

I'd love to see Reese & Cyrus back!

Minigames or something to beef up the multiplayer aspect.

That's so wierd I dont think I ever met Pascal and I played new leaf everyday...

Way to turn the music off. It's not that I don't like it, but anything repetitive triggers my migraines. I can't play without the volume because I need to hear balloons and so on. Plus I enjoy the other noises.
Other than that I like the other ideas. I would love to see a way to pick a village you really want maybe with a special ticket that is bought with bells. Lots of bells though so it isn't easy such as 5 million. Not limited to just one either. Just a way to get villagers after you have been playing awhile but haven't been able to get other ways. I would love Audie and have spent countless tickets to islands but no luck.
One other thing would be an island we travel to with different shops. I don't want the main island to feel like a city

Tropical fruits! Weird that the whole game is island paradise theme, but there aren't any tropical fruits. I'd say multi-craft and streamlining the online features, but I think it's unlikely for those to ever happen knowing Nintendo.

I really would like if you could catch critters from the tide pools. For now I just made some barnacles so they don't look too vacant.

More furniture would be nice, everyone is using basically all the same stuff because there just aren't many options yet. I think I have seen 2 different sofas the entire time I've been playing. Other than that definitely bushes and more outdoor plants.
