My town is called Hogwarts.
so far, in my town i have started on building set things from the film..
in my house..
Room in the back: Gryffindor House
Room on the left: Hufflepuff House
Room on the right: Ravenclaw House
Basement: Slytherin House
Second Floor: Room of requirement
Centre Room, First Floor: the great hall

in the very left of my town, edging the beach.. i have started a forbidden forest, its just full of trees and im still growing my fruit on them!
i have some flowers in between the trees and some flowers creating a temporary pathway outside my house/going on castle..

ive been told that if i create another character, then i can have another house, which opens up a million more oppourtunities for me.. i have many things i could put into another house, such as;
Quidditch Set
Moaning Myrtles Bathroom
Library
Classroom
Greenhouse
Chamber of Secrets
Diagon Alley
and many more..
However im not sure if making another character and house will be a good idea because im not sure whether ill be able to get into both houses as one character, etc etc.

im not 100% sure about all the changing villagers lark, however i have some in mind that i want that match my Harry Potter theme perfectly!

im about to open a section, so random, that its full off flowers fruit, just random things and that will be in favour of the Lovegoods! Luna is one of my fav characters so its really important iinclude her! ~stay away from the nargles~

I have so many more ideas, i just need to get the right furniture and put them into action as soon as possible!!

thanks for reading.. im still open to any ideas you might have, after all im only learning so you guys might have some fab ideas that hadnt even crossed my mind!!

This sounds like a great town!

You could make a Shrieking Shack and use the Sloppy Series; it would look rundown and abandoned. Growing a perfect fruit tree nearby that you let die could give the appearance of the Whomping Willow.

And a fourth house could be for The Burrow. A cozy kitchen area, upstairs have a bedroom with some kind of ghost, and the back room could be done as a garden with a ton of garden gnomes, even though they don't quite match the look of the ones from the books.

If you decide to do more characters you could do Ron Harry or Hermione (don't know how to spell it) assuming your first character is Luna, just an idea :)

these ideas are awesome!!
i already have a whomping willow temporarily gonna use use the one that was built for the mayor, however i like the rotten fruit idea!!
Im currently working on my second house, then i think a burrow would be perfect!!

thank you all so much :)
nice to see people take interest :)

This sounds so cool! I'd love to visit it in a dream sometime if you ever decide to make a dream code for it!

I really like the Diagon Alley idea, so if you decide to make a third character you could probably make each room in their house a different type of wizarding "shop". I'm not really sure what items there are that could work for it, but I'm sure there are plenty that would look really nice!

I also like the idea of using a house to represent the various classrooms! Maybe a bathroom, library, potions classroom, astronomy room, herbology greenhouse, etc?

Or you could just make a little Hargrid's cottage! That would be cute :D

OH! And 12 Grimmauld Place is an idea! That house could be really creepy and haunted like~

I'm glad you like them c:

To make a dream address you first have to build the Dream Suite (if you haven't already, one day Isabelle should be sleeping at her desk, and when you talk to her she'll add the Dream Suite to your list of PwP's. I can't recall what the other requirements to unlock it are, if any). Once the Dream Suite is built, you can go in and either visit another town's dream by lying down on the bed, or generate a dream code of your town by lying on the couch c:

Oh! And also, this website is an ACNL item database, so you could use this if you need help looking for items that would suit your town theme: http://moridb.com/
