So I was getting pretty bored last year as there weren't any PC games that caught my eye, but my friend at school started playing this game during breaks and lunch called Robocraft, and after watching him play it for awhile I decided to try it out since he suggested it to me. And holy crap this game is a masterpiece. I instantly fell in love with it and was addicted to for awhile making it to Tier 8 on my highest bot with a tank I made (before treads were possible, and it actually looked like a legit army tank). I quit playing November of last year though because I was moving on to other games, but now that those times are over I am considering playing it again, but I'm scared to get back into it since I've missed so much. Nevertheless I just redownloaded the game after months of not playing it and I'm going to have a tun of fun getting back into it.

Robocraft is a spectacular game that you can play on PC or with Steam too where you build, drive, and fight with your very own Robots. There's different terrains you can play on, and there's different robots you can make to use too like flying ones, land ones, hover ones, and even more than that. Robocraft is one of the most popular and growth-intake games on the web that grows in popularity by the second. It was awarded the #1 Indie game of the year in 2014, and I'm proud to say I helped it by voting for it to get it to the finals, and then voting for it in the finals.

Do any of you guys play Robocraft or have you heard of it? What kind of bot do you fight with?? I'll update this with a picture soon of my robot, and you guys are free to do the same as well as discuss anything about Robocraft here. If you have not heard of it or played it and you have Steam, or don't have steam I highly suggest trying it out. The addiction factor in it is crazy. :)

Here's a link for the official Robocraft website:

I am currently level 70 upon coming back. I was Tier 8 back last year when there were tiers. My username on there btw is rileyraccoon. Here's a picture of my bot from last year:

Well, I'm not exactly a PC gamer, I'm at a young age and my only console is a 3DS and a tablet.

Well thanks for at least replying to the thread. Seems like no one else even gives a crap to learn about it

What's it about? I might play it eventually.

It's basically a game invented by FreeJams where there's two different terrains to play on, one is a mars like place that is hot and dry, and another is a cool, icy place based on Mars supposed icecaps. There are levels 1-100 now and you build your own robots to drive, pilot, and shoot at others to blow them up using blocks, rounded curves, rounded blocks, aerofiles, wheels, tank treads, triangle prisms, plasma cannons, rail guns, SMG laser guns, and so much more. The higher your level the more CPU your bot can hold and the bigger and better it can be. The object of the game is that there's several modes. The one I like and play most is Team Deathmatch, which is the original mode of the game where you're put in a queue line and then sent in with about 10-12 other robots to face an enemy of other 10-12 robots on the other side, all the players have their cool, unique creations and are IRL people controlling those bots. The object of the game in Team Deathmatch is to either destroy all enemy bots or make it to the other side of the map and sit on the enemy's base pad for long enough so that they're base is captured without getting destroyed in the process. Each time you survive a match as well as how many enemy robots you destroy while in battle determines how much GP you get which you use to buy more amounts of different parts to trick out and upgrade your robot. Also there's another, blue currency which people can use to buy certain things you can't normally get in the game for your bots, like neat flags, your own country-themed badges, smoke trail things, own personalized robots that are pre-made you can buy with IRL money and more (Though I tend to enjoy not using that feature and just creating and fighting with my own robots) The game also supports several programs where you can communicate speak with other players, as well as an antihack easy cheat program that comes with the game and prevents most, if not all hacking problems. The game is a global one, and the community is once of the nicest I've seen like here, as well as they have their own forums to discuss things about the game and off topic

If you ever have free time on your hand and want something similar to Minecraft but better I highly suggest this game to all ages. It's Steam and off-Steam equipped, and again, won Indie online game of the year 2014 :)

On first glance, I thought it was Minecraft Knockoff #820.

But then, it's a Gundam-alike!

No, it is definitely not like Minecraft. Sure it uses blocks like them, but it's not restricted to just building like Minecraft is and PvP. In fact I don't even like Minecraft and never have, and I love this game.

I would have to agree that it does have Gundam aspects to it which make it very fun to play :)

Bump for this!!

It's beginning to sink and edging closer to the second page. Can't let that happen :)

Also I've successfully converted my tank from six wheels to two giant tank treads since they didn't exist a year ago when I played. I'll post an updated picture of my robot soon :)
