Unofficial Naruto Discussion Thread

Bul, Naruto is trying to become the strongest ninja however that's eons away, so there's alot of stuff in between. Also, why do you all want it spoiled, when I started watching I had no idea what it was about besides ninjas, watch the show and you'll get connected to it so you'll be able to figure out for yourself.

Oh also if anyone is going to talk about episodes ahead of America, Shippuden, or the manga that is way ahead of America please warn people that you're spoiling it.

[spoilers]

So, what are your guy's predictions for chapter 381. I'm sure the battle bewteen Jiraiya and Pain is going to end soon, who's goign to win? Or is Jiraiya done for, or does he have more tricks up his sleeve?

here's the rundown from episodes 1-100...

episodes 1 to 40-60ish, not sure, It's basically Naruto is an outcast, when he was a born they sealed this demon fox that terrorized the town in him, (which he doesn't know this till like ep. 50) but anyways... He wants to become Hokage, basically the leader of a village, in this case, Konoha, the leaf village. Yet he's such a sucky ninja that it's embarrassing just thinking that he's the main character, so people laugh about it and crap. Naruto is at his highest level of obnoxiousness in this area, he's always obnoxious, but trust me, it's bad at the beginning.

At around ep. 60-70, somewhere around the chunin exams I believe, Naruto starts actually getting skill, and starts kicking butt. He advances in strength from here on out, and this is where the show really gets good. Much more action.

then every episode between 90 and 100 is a total filler. So because of that, I stopped watching.

Shippuuden is apparently good, but I'm not watching until it's English, and I hope for all our sakes that Naruto's voice drops in Shippuuden xD
That's weird, on Wikipedia it says episode 20 is the episode the exam ends.

Don't misinform people on such a degree next time.
Actually i just watched episode 47 and they're still in the exams, so you were misinformed my friend
No, not really. The 2nd part of the exams is actually where you see ninjas fight and the main characters for the big overall story is introduced. The 3rd is all fighting.
The whole 1-25 beginning part builds up for an immensely strong ending to the story.

In the late 50s Naruto summons the Toad God so what you said is misinforming.
Actually read Zero's post. It's not I that was misinformed..

60-70 is where there are huge fights in the arena. That's not part of the exam even though its for it. It is the end of the rising action of the main plot.

Episodes 6-19 are actually pretty good. The written part of the exam is bad. But that is episode 20. Naruto was never a bad ninja. He just didn't know how to apply himself or much at all. In 6-19 you see something Naruto hasn't yet, him being accepted. From there on out, he improves every episode. So no, Naruto isn't a "sucky ninja"
wow, that's quite a big fuss over some numbers.

I haven't watched the show in months, so I don't have every episode memorized xD

just because I got the numbers wrong doesn't mean it's misinforming, I still told the story.

And the fights in arena are part of the exams, tyvm. They're the final matches. It's in that arena when he fights Neji that he actually shows some skill, with the whole popping out of the ground thing.

I said things like "40-60" and "60-70" because I knew that I didn't know the numbers, it was an estimate.

I gave the rundown of the story and the progress of Naruto, him sucking, getting better at the chunin exams, and then fillers, and that's all that really matters.... Exactly which number each episode is doesn't really matter at all.

You make it sound as if episode 60 is where it gets good, where as episode 6-19 is good and then drops off for a while. Also, those final fights aren't exactly part of the exams. While they go on the big fight is being prepared. The exams are a boring when its just that. When the story comes into play the exams take a backseat. When reading what you wrote I felt that you implied that the exams (just them) go on for an extremely long time as the main focus; but really, they don't.

I've always thought this was kind of like a combination of DBZ and Inuyasha or something...

It never could keep my interest...it takes them way too long to do things in that show, IMO.

agreed, after anyone says anything, even if it isn't important at all, they have about 2 minutes of people in shock having voice overs and flashbacks xD

To any manga readers, chapter 381 came out on youtube. Also, can you guys just chat in the god dang chat thread in the HQ?

Stop asking about episodes, it's useless, as you can see nobody cares.

Dude, this is the unofficial naruto thread. You're supposed to talk about Naruto, you guys can't read. We have members (not many but some) who want to talk about Naruto.

Where are they? Please show me them, if they were you'd see Naruto talk here besides you. Oh and a reminder, you don't control what we post.

I've only seen a few episodes, but I actually think the show looks pretty interesting if I watched it a bit more often. What times is it usually on?

Well, on Cartoon Network there is 1 new episode a week sometime Saturday night. And they might show it during a weekday night as well. However, the best place to find episodes is at youtube, and just type in Naruto Episode 1, etc. and you can find every single episode there.

Yes, but the staff, the rules, and the topic you're posting in can determine what is okay to post. For all the spam you've caused you should be out of TBT for weeks.

Thanks. I'll be sure to check it out sometime. Right now my parents are watching TV in the room so I'll have to wait.
