I've been seeing a lot of villagers use an expression that I didn't get from Shrunk. It's the one where they lean forward, smile with wide eyes, and green lights radiate from their head like the stars in the pride expression. Gracie does it when you're about to get the fashion check. It's weird, Shrunk gives you all the expressions available to use and you always get all 40 eventually, but this one expression just isn't part of that.
There's actually more than just one emotion that we don't get to perform. Besides all of the special villager exclusive emotes, we don't get to do the "surprised" emotion. Not the one with the exclamation point, but the one in which thick white likes appear for a short time over the villagers head. We got to perform it in city folk and wild world though.
Yeah, I've talked abput the lack of that expression before. It's what won me over for a lot of villagers. When Winnie was in my tent and leaned forward with excitement, it was so cute I had to ask her in. Same for Cheri (didn't have room for her, though) and Freya. I love how excited they get with that.
There's that one, and then there's the sweating emotion that you only use when you're wearing long-sleeved clothing in the summer. It is pretty annoying, because that emotion's one of the coolest.
