Unnecessary hate for mouse villagers?

i hate them as much as i hate the gorillas.

Yeah it's weird how out of all species mouses get a lot of hate. Even more than goats do, which is weird cuz those mofos look like bike seats.

Personally I've only had Bree and I loved her lots. Imo her design is adorable. If I ever get a fourth town I'll make sure to get at least one mouse. Probably Rod or Bella. I'd also really adore to have Greta sometime cuz she reminds me of Morgana Fey from AA and she'd fit a zen town perfectly.

the only one I've had was Penelope and she was pretty adorable.

I don't hate the mice. They aren't my favorite, but some of them are cute. I've had Dora in a few of my towns and I think she's very sweet.

There's a lot of villager phobia amongst ACNL players and the less popular species get treated with much disdain by some.When I started playing I absolutely hated certain species,especially horses,gorillas and kangaroos but now,after seeing most of the villagers in-game,none of them really bother me anymore.I have Bree and she's one of my favorites and one of these days I'd like to get maybe Limberg,Penelope or Dora.

Some of the mouse villagers are cool and some of them... aren't. I like them, though. Mice are cute. <3

I've only had Limberg and Dora. I liked Dora, but she's not my favorite, but I loathe Limberg. I also find Bella to be ironically completely the opposite of what her name suggests. I also think Samson is rather cute, but these two are the only ones who I sort of like.

I don't understand all the hate towards mouse villagers either, I mean I personally wouldn't want any in my town, but I can see some themed towns they'd be great in. I guess it's just one of those things, like how everyone hates Donald Trump, or how everyone hates bugs/insects (in general, not everyone).

i don't mind the mice villagers that much, i think bettina is adorable and if i had room i'd love to have her in my town. i mostly dislike the bigger villagers(gorillas, bears(besides nate and tutu), eagles, and elephants)

I love Dora c: I had her in my first ever town along with Marshal (who isn't really that special to me in all honesty)

They had so much potential but for me they fell hard. The head shape is wonky and I really don't like their ears. It's even more disappointing for me because I feel as though they had huge potential to be adorable. Moose kind of looks like he's covered in armpit hair. Bree is nice but I still think she would be so much more cute with a different shaped head and or ears.

Is it just me, or does it seem like mice are pretty much despised by 99% of the ACNL community?? I don't really get it, I think they are adorable. One of my absolute dreamies (a villager of mine who moved away and I want back) is Moose, and there are plenty of others with adorable designs, like Bree, Bettina, Rod, Penelope, Chadder, Broccolo, and Bella.

Is there any particular reason people seem so hostile towards mouse villagers?

I can't believe you like Moose, I quit playing for like 5 months when that hideous mouse moved into my town lol

Personally, I don't hate them, that'd probably go to the pig species, but I haven't seen any mice that I like the design of, which is why I passed Bree by when she was a camper.
