Unlocking the Egg Day Wand ???

I know it is a bit strange seeing this type of thread when its September but I time travelled back to Easter to collect the egg day dress and hat DIY that I missed out on. I now see that I also missed the Egg day wand and wanted to ask how do I unlock it?

Craft the wobbling toy you get from talking to Zipper on April 12th after having crafted all bunny day items.
Then, show that too him and he'll give you the wand.

If I went straight to April 12th to see him would he give me the diy or would I still have to craft everything? cause I am missing a few items I do not really want.

I have crafted some items before during April this year is there a way to see if I have crafted an egg day item before ? so I don't have to craft them again?

There's a checkmark in your list if you crafted them before.

I remember it was painful to get certain eggs. But you can trade with players here though! Unfortunately, I sold mine a long time ago.
