To go along with the recent thread of overused town names, let's start a discussion of unique town names.

With millions of players around the world it is rare to have a truly unique name.

I'll go first: Right now I have two slightly uncommon names:

1. Rumble - my all "bear" town. It has multiple personal meanings. Only 2 other dream addresses have that name.

2. Wander - my cycling town. I wanted a name that had a positive feeling to cycling. Villagers wander in and out of this town. I want there to be a flow. I just started it last week. Major WIP.

-------

If you have seen anyone else's unique town name or you have a unique town name, share it with us and tell us the history or meaning behind the name!

I saw someone who had a town named Silence. We both thought it was funny since my town is called Tempo.

i don't think mine is particularly unique or anything but i don't see a lot of merrily's going around. i've yet to actually search for it though so there could be about a million

There aren't any other Florasy's than my own, to my knowing. Currently 2 dream addresses have that name, with both me, Barbara as mayor. They were my previous towns.

I've never seen another Loki. Which is nice because I think it has a nice charm as a village name (outside of its normal purposes of course).

My first town in WW was named a place, because I literally didn't know what I was typing would be the town. I could of just called it Nowhere...

There's one and only one town called 40,000ft in the dream suite, and I think it's one of my favorite towns. I love the name as well~

I would have had a really unique town name if not for the character limit. I really wanted to name my town Day's Break, because I like to be punny that way. But, it wouldn't fit. So I went with Daybreak. I had a really unique town name for my old ACWW file. The town there was named Dawdle.

I googled Solace, my WW town, and a couple results popped up from ACC with one town in City Folk and another in WW. I imagine if I had New Leaf to check in the dream suite there'd be plenty more though

My town's is called Onett, named after the Earth Bound city. I don't think that name is overly over used like other town names like Palet or the infamous, Hyrule.

I haven't seen anyone with the name Abstract yet, it sounded pretty unique to me ♥

Also towns in different languages that sound cool or have a special meaning behind them are cute and very original!~

I loved this town called Purru and the design was so amazing overall

I've seen a couple towns named Tenshi in. the Dream Suite but it doesn't seem to be common or common on here. I've only seen one other Starpass as well.

My three towns

1. Piękno, it is Polish for Beauty
2. Snowflur, no actual meaning to the word, but it is my Winter town.
3. Ladny, My cycle town, Polish for "nice", I want my villagers to live in a nice town before they go to their forever home

My old town was called Bub, named after the cat, and to this day it's the only town in the DB with that name!

I'm prettty sure I'm the only Collet, since I named my town after an item called the Dream Collet in a children's anime.

My main town is Ooo, which is probably way common. It's the only town name I've ever wanted to change, but only because it looks silly written down.

My second town is called Burney, after my favorite author, and I'm really happy with it. I think the next town I name will be called Faber, after another favorite character.

My sister's town is called Ikol, which is Loki backwards, and named after our cat.

My town is called Everton. Its nothing really special but I've never seen the name anywhere else so I suppose thats a good sign.
