Unique things you do in ACNL?

I tens to send letters to villagers all the time and it's usually just one word or sentence or so. I also play my game sometimes routinely or scattered xD

when i write letters to my villagers i like to make them as if they could actually read them... lol

I like to give villagers catchphrases based off their appearance or Japanese name. Like Francine is Furan because her name is Francois and said as Furansowa. Rolfs is Chomoran, Marshal's is Mochi because he looks like mochi and Mira is Sera V because she looks like Sailor V

On my newest file, I'm not going to be upgrading my house past the first one. I want a little rustic house. I don't know if that's unique, but I'm going to focus more on the town than on my house.
