Do you do anything in the game that you feel most other people wouldn't?

Something I do is for catch phrases, I enter the sound the animal in question would make. Say if it's a horse villager, I make the phrase 'nay'. For eagles, 'caw'. etc. I do this because for me it is cute and plus I'm unimaginative as heck to think of anything else.

I also like to make little sub areas on the map and put up custom signs for them. For example, I dedicated a little area to being a park and closed it off with bushes and made the entrance an illuminated arch. Inside was a bench, picnic blanket and clock. To the right of it I had a little forest where the camping tent was.

Share your thoughts. :lemon:

My cat villager asked for a new catchphrase. Now all of my villagers say mew. It thought it was cute at first. I haven't done much that's unique though.

I think I have some unique designs going in my house, although it's a work in progress still. I have a tiki bar basement, I have a jazz club room, a backyard room, a throne room, and a karaoke party room (so far).

I like to design uniforms for my villagers,
and I would be so happy when my villagers wear the clothing I designed c:
Right now I'm working on a denim jacket c:

I don't know if this is considered unique or not but I made my house look as trashy as possible instead of having a "nice" house.

Some days I put on the shirts the villagers give me thru the day.
By the end of the night I had plaid shorts and a jester tank. Yuka give me a third strike I'm out on fashion.

Sometimes I would give my villagers very nasty catchphrases. I don't know why, but there's just something about seeing my villagers insulting others to be hilarious.

I used to make unique catchphrases for my villagers. Like Pierce's catchphrase before he moved was 'brosky'. And Tex's catchphrase was 'Texxyrexxy'. It's a bit annoying when other villagers steal it though.

Not sure if this would count as unique, but my absolute favorite type of villager is Snooty + Phyllis the Pelican (Sorry I like the mean type of villagers lol). A lot of the time when she visits "The Roost" at 9:00pm-9:55pm I will check just to see if she's there and sit with her as she fills me with her admirable negativity. I'm weird lol.

I like to turn certain pwp's or furniture into something else.

Dango- Snowballs and eggs.
Bus stop- Lemonade stand and fruit stand.
Fence- Chicken coop.
Vinigar- Alcohol.
Stone henge- I once used it as a mining cave for the 7 dwarves. It was kind of cute.

I love all these ideas!

I have a backyard fun party! with Alloid party around a kiddie pool and bbq bed! I also have a talk show room, because I think I'm that interesting to have a talk show lolololol

I also have a SKyrim themed town, haven't seen another one of those

my backyard room has kiddie pool and entire backyard theme; whirlpool from island with some lawn chairs and beach chairs, some april fools day towels, and whichever table you can get from island/club tortimer that has a tiki drink on it.

somebody here at TBT had a giveaway asking questions about skyrim and they said their town was also skyrim based. i think it was in november or december that their giveaway thread was up...

My town is Bravest Warriors themed (mostly based on the first episode), so my flag is Catbug (also my profile picture on here), the name of my town is Glendale (which was in the first episode), and my characters are (kind of) past versions of my mayor. I like to give my villagers greetings and catchphrases relating to Frederator (the studio that makes Bravest Warriors, Adventure Time, and Bee and Puppycat), so there are a lot of references to their shows :D My town is basically one big fat inside joke and I love it.

I don't know if anything I do at this point would be considered unique haha. I use ores, Thanksgiving ingredients, lost items and Easter eggs (anything that doesn't look like a paper bag or a leaf when put on the ground) around my town as part of the design but I've seen that done before. I also "design" my villagers houses by relentlessly sending them furniture until they put it in their house. I do the same with clothing so they wear something that looks good on them. I'm done with most villager's homes except I want Marina to replace her bathtub with a custom pink bathtub and I want to replace the screen in Bill's home with a violet screen. It's hard when the item you want them to replace is a custom version of the same item because they consider it the same thing so they won't accept it when they're looking for furniture.

i have a dig site in the narrow strip of land in the northeast! there's a ton of assessed fossils buried there!
