Who knows? Maybe I'll like him.
But I think my priorities didn't include him. That I need a cranky and a snooty villager.
Keaton told me he's ready to move. I'll be letting him go. I just hope Simon doesn't get in the way of a next-day show of a Dreamie at my town's campsite. (Simon would become the tenth villager.)

I had the exact same thing happen to me! I let lots of people in to sell turnips on Wednesday. Yesterday I went on AC and there was a new plot. I got Clay, he told me where he came from and it is from one of the towns of one of the people who visited me. I was annoyed at first as I was saving the space incase a dreamie came up on here but he has actually grown on me! Try Simon out, you never know he may grow on you!

Yup, probably from streetpass or over wi-fi. Talk to him after he moves in and he may tell you what town he came from.

Let me clear: A voided villager is one the town's mayor didn't move? If that's so, that would explain my early-days villager Walt telling me, prior to his move, that he didn't know were he was going.

A voided villager is a villager that moves from another town who did not get adopted (someone coming in and convincing them to move to their town). It doesn't matter about the mayor/resident, just the villager moving from the town without being adopted.
Walt saying he didn't know where to go yet is because no one has come over and convinced him to move to their town. If they did, he would say he is moving to their town. If he was not adopted, he went to (what is know as) the void.

Actually, if someone invites them to their town, the house gets locked up and the notice says that they have moved.

He says he is moving to the town when you and the adopter are in his house after the adopter convinced him, and you talk to him then. After the session is over, just his empty house remains and if you go up to his door it will say "Moved Out".

That evidently happened with my former villager Shari. I came across on moving day, after 5:00 p.m., that she moved. Said so outside of her house. House still there that day; gone the next.
Nobody wanted Alli when she was moving, and cranky old Tom told me he was worried sick about her since she didn't have anywhere to go. That mad me so sad, but nobody wanted her.

*Sigh* I am worried for this happen on me too. I frequently visited my friend's town and now his Simon moving out as well as my Cookie on the same day. Now I desperately trying to get Cookie adopted, since I got her from a giveaway it would be bad I void her but....no one reply me >< Also I already got a dreamie waiting me this is why I hope to get my dreamie before Simon been void (he seem more unwanted lol).
