Who were your unexpected dreamies? Villagers you didn't expect to love/grow attached to? But have become a dreamie of yours and you now couldn't let go?

For me, I bought a second cartridge 3 weeks ago because I've had my food themed town 2 and a half years, I can't delete it but wanted something fresh

Reset for one of my dreamies in the original 5 and got Rosie..
Genji was one of the original 5, and in only 3 weeks he's immediately become my favourite, I absolutely love him and he's never leaving! I've never been attached to a jock before and I didn't think I'd like him.
So who have been yours ?

Naomi, Fuchsia, and Hans. ESPECIALLY Hans. At first, I was really upset I got a gorilla, but then I saw him and just fell in love with his personality. He is pretty much my bestie in my town. <3

I picked up Violet via void from my husband who didn't like her. She is such a sweetie but I'd like to have an Australia themed town with only Koala, Kangaroo, or Crocodile villagers, so I probably won't be keeping her for long.

I randomly took Lopez from a thread on here a long time ago.... thought he looked cool and would give him a shot! I instantly loved him and his sass! he has moved up to be one of my top ten fav villagers and forever lives in Zephyr now

For me it was Ed, I can't understand why he isn't more popular really....smugs are such a lovely personality (my second favourite after lazy) and he is actually very cute.
I don't like his original shirt but you could always change that.
Unfortunately I lost him through a time travelling accident and it's very unlikely I'll get him back, I've cycled out all the villagers who lived with him at that time to get my current dreamies and he's still appearing in my main street.
Monty is also lovely. The monkeys are very unpopular for some reason....he's a white cranky monkey, would think he would be more popular

kyle, monique, and tiffany were all dreamies i never expected to love. i love the adult / punk-looking villagers, esp ones that wear a nice shade of lipstick or look super tough. kyle holds a special place in my heart cuz a friend of mine roleplayed him and made him feel so unique... i immediately fell in love w/ him. ;;

hans and boone. i dont really like big or gorilla villagers but their designs just appeal to me so much they went into my dreamy list.

I needed a cranky in my town for pwp unlocks, and I picked Hamphrey because I thought he looked cute. Turns out he's even more adorable than I thought he would be! :3 I love him, and I can't imagine my town without him. He's definitely a forever resident now.

Hans too. I didn't like him at first, but now I think he's a cutie. I'm not sure if he's dreamie status, but I love having him in my town, and have almost forgiven him for his awful plotting behind my mayor's house ^_~

I've become really attached to my Muffy and Groucho (both are one of my first 5 residents). I didn't expect to like anyone to be honest, especially Muffy- her house is RIGHT in front of my mayor home lol but she managed to wiggle her way into me keeping her. And even though Groucho can be so rude at times (he loves to come over unannounced and then stays for FOREVER (I once had him stay for 30 minutes, he wasn't even in the room itself, I had blocked the way in with my classic sofa lolol), he sends the nicest letters.

Beardo. I thought he was weird looking at first, then after I started playing again after a year, he grew on me. I got super attached to him and his weird looks and funny personality, and looked forward to his letters. Then I accidentally lost him in an TT accident and was so sad that I plastered my walls, furniture and floor with patterns I made of his face, maniacally started to buy his furniture, and decided to erect a lighthouse in his memory. I'm still looking for Beardo. He is the reason I registered on the forum, because I hope to get him back. I should figure out how to upload pictures of my insanity here.

Another one is Diana. I didn't know she was so popular, and I wasn't that into her because IRL I am not drawn to glamorous, beautiful snooty types. But she is my closest neighbor and I see her so much that I just love her now.

Poppy is my only villager from the beginning and I will never let her leave! Her cuteness.

Yesterday I decided to let Moe live in my town forever. He's so cute in an "ugly" way! And after several hours of plot resetting for Ankha's house, she finally placed her house next to Moe's, so I thought it would be cute if they were neighbors.
