Underrated villager species.

rhinos, absolutely !! i love them a lot but have a weird thing abt my town needing modern houses so i don't have any, but they are so sturdy and sweet. also some really cool designs, as characters.

also the same with lions, which i have always found funny. you would think lions, of all animals, would be popular

Mice and pigs, definitely... I just don't understand how people can find every single one of them ugly, especially when adorable cuties like Gala and Penelope exist!

I have a love for the goats, and the squirrels (though I think squirrels are pretty popular).

And definitely a few of the big Bears!

Yeah,pigs,ducks,frogs,mice,chickens....it seems like the more common the animal is in real life(with the exception of cats and dogs),the less popular they are in ACNL.There's also a few somewhat "exotic" animals like the koalas that don't seem to be too popular in the game.

Eagles, Lions, Tigers, Hippos & Rhinos. I think a lot of people prefer the smaller/mid-sized villagers rather than big bulky ones, so that might be a contributing factor to their lack of popularity. It's a shame though 'cause ROLF? TYBALT??? AZIZ??? BUD???? ROCCO??? CELIA??? BUZZ?? TANK?????? The legends.

Ducks and pigs by far. There are so many cute villagers amongst them. I cannot see a good reason how someone could hate all of them.

I love a lot of Alligators and Koalas, but it seems a lot of people don't like them. Also I think there are a lot of villagers (not species completes) that are very underrated, like Alfonso or Deena.

Why would people hate on Alfonso? He's so nice! Not to mention that he appeared in the movie and was one of my favourite characters in it (he's also a semi-dreamie of mine; in other words he's a dreamie but not as much as my other dreamies).

I LOVE the koalas! And I like the alligators and ducks overall as well. Sadly, many villagers are still probably overlooked...

There seem to be many species where a couple of villagers might be in demand/fairly popular, but the rest are ignored. Not sure if this was already mentioned, but off the top of my head, I don't often hear about monkeys or eagles (except maybe Apollo).

Kangaroos, goats, eagles and chickens are really underrated for some reason. I like alligator villagers as well and if you need specific characters: Kitt, Walt, Amelia, Knox or Ava, Gayle, Del, Pashmina, and a couple others i can't think of right now.
