Is it just me or my second character in New Leaf is not getting the feature of using the QR Code Sewing Machine ?

Ive time traveled 1 day at a time with my second character (Futaba~) and its usually six days that you get the Sewing Machine if you talk to Sabel (? i forgot >w<) everyday . I did , we are best friends now but she doesn't mention the sewing machine .

I've done this before and it worked with my previous second character (i deleted that one because i felt that i didn't need it but now I'm keeping this one)

is there anything wrong ? ​

Yeah, I just got the sewing machine and it took ten days. The AC wiki says ten days too.
