ok so i was tting to november to get some rare mushrooms and i noticed that my tree got smaller WTF

Oh, lol. But I could see that. Because if you restart, and then TT day by day to the current date, your tree wont grow... I think It grows by how well you take care of your town. Or how much you activly play.

No, they don't. They spawn all year next to special stumps.
I've had a few of them appear in my NA town in July.

It's wrong. It says that about all of them which is not true for NL.
Those pictures don't look like they're from NL either.

yup I have special stumps and I have gotten mushrooms in both June and July...I don't TT. It IS possible to get them year round around special stumps.

You can only find rare mushrooms near your tree stumps if you have a perfect town. Rare mushrooms will be buried underground near the tree stump, rather than sitting on the ground like other types of mushrooms.
