"Ugly" villagers?

I feel bad when I ask a villager to move, even if I don't like her/him. And I always say "It's just a stupid game god dammit", but it still hurts when I'm mean to a villager or even if I turn them down when they ask for a favor.

I never judge them by their looks, I judge them by where they place their houses.

In Animal crossing, Looks appeal more to me as for each personality type, the for dialogue for each is repetitive and basically the same, so all anyone can mainly judge on is design. But I don't personally find any villager "ugly". Yes they may not be the most appealing, but imperfections is what makes a villager special and appealing to me. I personally just fell in love with Frita, even though her face may not be as appealing to most. ^~^

Well I think Hopper is the BEST villager!!! If I didn't have him.....I would be so sad, and I would reset no stop, for MONTHS if I had to just to get him from the campsite. And I would even buy him, even thought I hate the whole buy/sell/trade villager concept, and would happily pay 500,000,000,000 bells for him!!!

ok thanks ami for teaching us that everyone has differing opinions when it comes to villagers bc youre certainly the most qualified to teach lessons like that

I think some people find Renee and Katt ugly, but I adore them both. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to replace Renee with Katt bc Renee put her house in the worst place possible, but I still love Katt so its okay. Idk about other ugly villagers I like. I sort of like Vladimir bc hes my birthday buddy and my bff's favorite villager.

I hate when people try to make you feel bad for judging on looks, or feel high and mighty for not judging on looks. like ok if you honestly see some sort of unique personality between marshal and quillson go ahead and be cray bc theyre programmed exactly the same way

if every villager had their own personality, then maybe itd be different, but they're all sharing a slice of the personality pie

the only real unique emotional attachment you can have to a villager is if you have childhood memories or something of them. thats why my friend loves vladimir so much. other than that, they're all the same p much

As I said before, I suck at my word choice. So a lot of the time, when it comes off as me hating on someone's opinion, that is not even the intention. I have never even ONCE intended to step on people's opinions, it is just that my word choice is so bad, It can come off as if I was.

It isn't really the word choice though. It's just that you repeat the same thing over and over, that we kinda get sick of it.
I would love to have hopper in my town though.

Everyone has different opinions, so sometimes two people can argue with each other. I, personally think that Gigi, Tabby, Hans and Pinky are ugly.
I think Frita is ugly, but she is 'okay' to me. It's all about opinions. I know someone who loves Harry, Tabby, Hans and Gigi, but most of them are hipsters Jokes aside, at least someone loves the villager you hate/you think is ugly.

IRL people have their own habits and personality.
Also their own feelings.
Let's not forget that our beloved AC villagers are simply programs.
Nothing wrong with loving them, nothing wrong with favoring the best looking ones either.
They don't care, they can't even tell if they are ugly or not.
So in the end it's up to what the person prefers. If you prefer ugly it's fine too though.

The problem is that the looks are literally the only thing that makes the characters different... So being judged by them isn't really all that surprising. It's up to opinion anyway and considering what people consider appealing in games like this are the cute things villagers like Chrissy tend to be more adored than Harry.

All I can do is sit down and hope the personality AI gets improved.. Which the dream job thing failed at xD If that even was there to try to make the characters be more deep that is
