Ugliest villager you have that you feel obligated to keep?

For me it's Tabby, I got her in the first week of the game when you had to invite your first 3 villagers to your island. It was late and I had no interest in island hopping to find someone good so I took her. Not gonna lie, I thought she was pretty ugly and I had every intention to boot her ASAP but she grew one me. She's peppy and wants to be a pop star, she's loves giving me presents and is constantly complementing me. She's the nicest villager I have and her poster is super cute.

When my friends first met her they made fun of her and I felt kind of bad so now I feel like I have to keep her forever because I know no one else will want her.

She's ugly but somehow cute too lol

Edit: The only downside I saw to keeping her is she doesn't have her real interior, I like to keep villagers houses original. She has a default one (wooden block furniture) but after looking at what her real house looks like, I think the wooden block ones suits her better. I'm going to gift her her poster, hopefully she hangs it up

I had Hans as my first campsite visitor and was actually really mad about it, but ended up kinda liking him in the end. I still kicked him out, but we parted ways with good spirits.

Flora isn't ugly at all, but she was one of my original villagers and I'm not that crazy about her, but feel like because she was one of my original 5 I can't let her go!

Clay, I guess? Because he's my starter and he has a unique design and I'm proud of how I themed his yard and his starter house doesn't clash with his aesthetic. He and Billy have been forever neighbors and I kinda don't want to mess with that just because I don't find myself attached to him. I also don't know what lazy villager I would want in his place - Filbert or Walker, my two favorite lazies, just don't match, and most of the others aren't worth swapping Clay out for.

Also he reminds me of one of my best buddies from high school

I had Tabby in my first town ever in WW.

She is hideous but I really liked her, until I talked to her too many times and she came out with the most hateful, and hurtful stuff.

Maybe Paula? I personally don't think she's ugly, but she is a bit plain. She looks like a friendly muppet! But as she was one of my starters, her house is painfully plain. I'm on the fence with keeping her because she kind of bores me, but she was one of my starters in New Horizons so I would feel bad having her move.

Three of my current favorite villagers are tabby, clay, and biff (though I do my have any of them on my island). I find them all utterly adorable. And I saw Paula in a mystery island lately and almost adopted her, cause she’s pretty cute! So this thread is very surprising to me. Tabby and Kabuki are the cutest of the cat villagers in my opinion. It just goes to show, every character I think is super ugly or boring probably has a devoted fan base out there. It’s a really nice thought actually!

I actually love Tabby She's one of my dreamies. I guess I've never felt forced to like any ugly villager. I just like who I like, and some happen to be "ugly" to other people, like Egbert.

I don't know if I'd class any of my villagers as ugly.

The only one I've had whose design my son and I didn't like was Marshal - he looked unfinished, like there was a void in the middle of his face where someone forgot to draw his nose!

Now that he's gone though, we're a pretty handsome island!

I kept Buck for a while. He was my starter jock - he had a bland design and terrible house. When he asked to leave I reluctantly said yes and bought his amiibo. Later on when I invited him back to my island I saw that his real house was somehow even worse than the starter house It just wasn’t the same anymore... So I just let him go forever haha
