My mom just told me that I couldn't go to a party. Why? Because it's for a guy I used to like, and they said that it's "not appropriate for me to go" and it's the "right thing to do." Pfft, yeah right.

I don't understand what is so wrong about going to this party. I mean, it's just like telling me I can't go to the party because it's for a girl that I liked. I mean, come on.

So, now I'm very angry that they would do this to me. Ugggh, why is this such a problem in today's society.

Well being a master of time and space I get this sort of problem alot. "MY PARENTS WONT _____ AND THEY ARE MEAN AND ARE LIKE _____HOLES" is very frequented nowadays. All you really have to do is wait for your parents to die. Like most people (if they are people) they will shrivle up upon old age. At this point you can even abuse them and take their pills. After they die you can **** whoever or whatever you want or go to parties if you go to parties or something.

Yes, but not by actually having sex with a girl. =P It's all done in a lab. One of us would just donate our sperm, and we'd have a female friend actually give birth for us. I never said that's what we're gonna do, though. We still have no idea, lol.

Anyway... You just have to deal with your parents until you can get out. =/ I couldn't take it any longer, so I flew across the country to get away from it all. I know it can be hard... But you just gotta live with it. I know it's not what you want to hear, but there really isn't anything you can do... You just can't change some people. =/

While they may not be right, they think they are right, and as such are only doing what they think is right for you, don't worry, like coffeh said in a few hundred years, homosexuality will be A-ok with any and all societies, I personally believe that by then just about anything will be accepted by all societies. And I agree. Dealing with all of this, especially as a teenager, is quite difficult. Part of me is STILL angry at them for not letting me go for the aforementioned reason.
