Uchis and smugs need more villagers.

Everyone knows Uchis need more villagers, that's a fact everyone knows.

But guys please take a second to realize something else.
Smugs are just as lacking as Uchis are but I don't see it mentioned very often, probably because people are too busy with Raymond and Marshal

Now let's be honest, how many of you have a smug that isn't Raymond or Marshal.

I've seen a few others who like other smugs who aren't popular either but it's the minority

Am I the only one who's been thinking this?

Oh and back to Uchis
Like I said, most people know they don't have many "good" ones
and they're probably worse off than smugs as they don't have any villagers that are ultra popular.

the 2 smugs i have aren’t raymond or marshal and i honestly don’t really care for them either; the smugs is my least favourite personality but zell > raymond and marshal omo.

They definitely both need more, although if they made even more cute smugs I wouldn't be able to help myself and end up getting all of them LOL

at one point I had 3 smugs because Marshal, Raymond and O'Hare are all so cute

And uchis also definitely need more, there's only ONE I like a ton and that's Diva, with smugs there's like 5 which isn't great but better than uchi

I would love more of both! I don’t care for Marshal or Raymond, but there are still a few Smugs I like—Huck really grew on me as a forced camper, and I love the designs of Curlos, Henry, Julian, and Shep as well.

For Uchis, I like Shari, Pashmina, Hazel, Reneigh, and I guess Agnes? It’s not a great pool.

I like plenty of Uchi and Smug villagers - my favorite villagers of all time right now are Phoebe and Julian. I wouldn't be opposed to more new villagers of those personalities, though.

Uchi and Smug are my favorite and I'm honestly cool with all the ones we have now. There's no doubt my island would be nothing but Smug and Uchi if I just picked my favorites.

Kyle and Eugene are my favorite Smug.
Muffy, Cherry and Katt are my favorite Uchi.

I really love Ken, Ed, Shep, Reneigh and Agnes as well.

I definitely think there needs to be more choices in both personalities.

Lately I've been thinking about the villager dialogue and how they all seem to say the same thing, so having 3 smugs or 3 jocks or whatever can get really repetitive.... what if each villager had *two* personality types, and gender didn't matter? So you could have a smug-snooty like Julian or Raymond... or a lazy-uchi (like Muffy) or jock-uchi (Mira)... I don't know, something to give them more unique personality and different kinds of dialogue.

Idk, I pretty much like a lot of Smugs already, so to add more would only make it harder for me to choose some. Even now I’m trying to cycle between some Smug Villagers. May faves are Jacques, Ken and Kidd. I also like some of the other ones like Pietro, Eugene or Zell. I think a lot of them are actually okay.

Uchi has Muffy and Cherry as my Faves and I also like Plucky, Reneigh, Agnes and Pashmina. So not as many as the Smugs.

I feel like we don’t have too many of the Rhinos, Bulls or Cows. I think some of them could use some Smug or Uchi Personality. Renée exists at least.

I still don’t get it why some species have 2,3 or more Villagers of the same personality and don’t get any variety at all. Best examples are the wolves. Also there are way too many Jocks which could easily be Lazy or something else. Maybe it’s finally time for some new Personalities?

Kyle has been my resident smug since new leaf! I think because of smug villagers that are extremely popular/ highly popular (thinking of raymond, marshal, and julian), people end up forgetting that there aren't that many smugs to begin with! I also think that because those couple of smug designs are so coveted and popular, we do need more uchis, especially "conventionally attractive (?)" ones. Maybe they can add another species of animal or try to even out some of the species numbers. Would love to see more octopi!

i agree, plus there are too many normal villagers imo. would be cool if some of them were uchis for personality variety!!

i was island hopping for fuchsia but then i saw ursala and loved her!! they're both really cool looking villagers
also for smugs, kyle is actually a nice one too!! he's my dreamie smug villager lol

I couldn't agree more. People rightfully complain about the lack of uchis (and there are SO many cute normal villagers who would make great sisterly types!), but smugs get discussed much less often.

Personally, I don't love any of the smugs. Raymond and Marshall are probably the cutest, but their down-turned mouths make them look a bit sullen to me. Not really the vibe I'm going for on my island, you know?

Right now I have O'Hare, and I figure I'll keep him forever just because he has an awesome house (best one in the game, imo) and is OK looking. I love the idea of an uncool dad in a little straw hat and Hawaiian shirt! But his orange lips/teeth are kind of weird... Still, there aren't any smugs that I like better than him, so he's staying! I plopped his house near the beach along with Flora, and they hang out in each other's tropical houses all the time. It's really cute!

Don't agree about smugs personally. I already have a hard enough time deciding which ones I want on my island because I love so many of their designs, adding more would break me haha.

Sisterlies leave much to be desired though. There are definitely some peppies and normals that could be switched to sisterly.
